Á¦¸ñ Network Support Engineer (12 hours shift)

³»¿ë Systems Support

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to sites, including laptop connectivity issues.

Provide installation support and enhancement of sites.

Handle support calls with minimal delay and minimise customer downtime.

Maintain Support database with up-to-date information of a ticket with description and ¡°closed¡± or ¡°open¡±.

Test and roll out new Internet based applications for the sites.

Perform upgrades and apply patches to Operational Systems where appropriate.

Provide in-depth technical and application knowledge to the customer including on-site support.

Participate in special projects and perform other tasks as required.

Interface with various departments such as Account Management, Sales and NOC.

Required to perform shift duties as and when required for urgent cases.

Any other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

Manage a network of subcontractors to conduct Site Surveys and produce accurate costing.

Build detailed Network Diagrams, ROI models and Scope of Works.

Build accurate Project Plans using standard Project Methodology.

Provide in-depth technical and application knowledge to the customer base including Field Service Engineers.

Manage projects and perform other tasks as directed by the Project Office Manager.



DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Minimum 2-3 or more years¡¯ experience in supporting Windows OS platform in a LAN/ WAN environment, preferably with experiences from telecommunications, hospitality industry.

(MCSE) Microsoft Certified System Engineer, CCNA or Master Antenna Television (MATV) certification is a plus.

Experience with Cisco, HP or NCS senior support, Wireless technologies and a converge network environment.

Computer proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Mail clients and Internet.

Demonstrated technical & project management skills.

Demonstrated ¡®hands on¡¯ operational and hardware experience is a must.

Good interpersonal, communication, customer service, time management and decision-making skills.

Proven analytical and problem solving skills.

A team player with willingness to learn and excel.

Able to work shift and stand-by hours.
